I’m insulted that you don’t differentiate between riders at the beginning of your video. Speaking for myself I’m not shitty at a lump of metal, it’s inert until the driver does something stupid. But you win me back later. I make an effort to stay in my emotional centre, as I believe most riders should.

I ride as if no one sees a bike! Sadly the people that do see you have speed guns. Added note, I know it's impractical but I always thought everyone who wants to drive/ride should within a confined training course have at least one lesson on a bike, car and lorry. Just to have a very small insite how their visibility, braking etc is compared to what they will be using.

A white van nearly took me out passing me on the freeway on the right and man I was tempted to chase him down on my FJR. Would have been easy enough to catch him, but I didn't. Just took a deep breath, realized I should have done a better job of checking my mirrors, and came home in one piece without a criminal record.

a lot of people want to pass of the right when i am in the passing lane behind a bunch of cars. wtf, get in line and do not cut in line. there are usually a bunch of cars that i am behind.

motorcycle riders need to take a very large chill pill. they weave in and out of traffic passing everybody and if someone passes them or cuts in front of them they go ballistic. they will come up to your window and open your door and yell at you. they will pull their bike up in front of you and threaten to call the cops and then drop their bike. public highways are not motorcycle racetracks.

Most motorcyclists ride for the adrenaline, and quite a lot of adrenaline seekers aren’t the smartest at times. I like adrenaline too, and I might have violent thoughts at times, but vandalism is stupid on a logical level.

Always check your ego, getting cut off cost you 10 seconds of your time at most, getting shot cost you the rest or your life. Road rage isn't worth it

As an avid cyclist, I find these problems all too relatable. Something about modern-day tribalism is really pitting people against each other like never before. Every year gets worse; I only have to get on the bicycle for someone to get pissed at me now. And consequently I get more angry and defensive, and I'm just ready to escalate the slightest conflict into something violent. I had a rage incident a few months back, as a pedestrian. I had right of way to cross an intersection and a guy came flying around a corner, didn't see me and nearly hit me. He stopped last-second, and as he sped away I kicked his back bumper. . . It was only maybe a week after the incident that I realized that what I did was premeditated. I was waiting for that scenario in the back of my mind, because many situations like it had occurred before. I was so sick and tired of bad drivers being unaware, and subconsciously I was waiting to lash out at somebody for not paying attention. The guy sped off so fast that I barely managed to kick his bumper; I don't even think he noticed. But I can't help but think about what a self-entitled and idiotic thing that was to do. Someone pissed me off, and so I was of the mindset that I could do whatever the fuck I wanted to them. Had he noticed it would have been really easy for him to adopt that exact same mindset and beat the shit out of me for kicking his bumper.

Sorry, though I no longer ride a bike, I did for more than 40 years. And during all that time I obeyed the same exact rules that cars have. Meaning I NEVER EVER "Lane Splitted". In my 40 years of riding a bike, as well as driveing an auto. I've seen a lot of bike mishaps in traffic. And the over whelming vast majority of them were do to the bike lane splitting. Tis my belief that bike should be mandated to following the same exact rules of auto's. Ok, some bikes will supposedly over heat, there are devices on can install that would eliminate that. I get it that no one wants to wait in line, but the alternative which involves lane splitting may cause serious injury and or death. The weight and means of the many aka cars, out weight the means of the few aka bikes.

There are actually multiple psychological effects that are leading to road rage it's not just object fixation. For example, imagine every single person on the road is actually one of your friends you're all going together on a field trip you're all riding together on cars and motorcycles, you will not act like a piece of shit to your friends typically speaking in the same way as you would act if someone had cut you off in the city where you don't give a fuck about anybody. Also when you're driving you're in a slightly different state of consciousness, different parts of your brain are active that aren't typically when you're just watching TV. driving around other cars and vehicles puts us into a very heightened state of alert that can easily trigger our fight or flight response. Imagine the car beside you is a potential predator, and that predator that could very well kill you is veering closer and closer to your lane, your brain is going to put you in a very heightened state of alert and force you to make a choice between fighting or fleeing. The fighting part is usually what results in road rage, the fleeing part is typically what happens when you just brush it off let it go, head home and cool off.

I used to be the angry guy who yelled at the car drivers. I still think they are all out to kill me, not intentionally, but through inattention or ignorance. These days I just give them a wide berth and continue on my way.

I don’t even like driving too close to bikers.I always think if they fall off I won’t be able to react and end up running them over.Anytime a bike is near me I’m always extra aware and keep my distance.

i drive and ride with tactics that cover for everyone specifically targeting me for elimination. i cant relate with morons who complain to people on their phones. not my problem and there sure as shit aint gonna listen to me. im more worried about what i can control/avoid. plus, i consider anyone without my ability and experience to be plebs and their views are irrelevant. if you havent raced and worke as a motorcycle deliver driver, your opinions on how to deal with your environment whilst riding are about as relevant to me as an insect is to an asteroid. from someone with literal thousands of hours on two wheels: having a loud bike is useless, expecting others to consider you is dumb, thinking you have sufficient skill to ride dangerously is idiotic and being emotional on road is plain suicide

I’d assume almost being hit by a car on a motorcycle is similar to the fury you get when you’re a pedestrian and almost get hit. What is an “oops” for them is almost always fatal for you.

The problem is that the licencing bodies and police don't do a good enough job of making sure people drive well, and it's not ok.

ALWAYS flash your tail lights multiple times at a stop if there’s a car in front of you. Many people lack depth perception and think your bikes tail lights are the tail lights of the car in front of you. I’ve personally witnessed a biker hit from behind at a stop and flung 20+ feet over a car, to land on the hood of a car two cars ahead.

I'm not mad because you "got ahead" by lane splitting. I'm mad that I paid $500 to replace original mirrors when a lane splitter domed himself on the side of my stationary truck, in a state where lane splitting is illegal. And he was not at fault to pay for the antique replacement mirrors. Sure, thank God he wasn't hurt. But I was not the cause of that incident. Cyclist behavior was the cause.

I remember when I was new to riding and there was a red light so I started slowing down to stop and this old dude cut me off from inside the lane (we were in one tiny lane, and he was trying to push me out of it) I was so pissed off and yelled at him I nearly hit the car in front of me while yelling at him note kids: focus on the road, not at the dumb ass who almost pushed you off the road.
